Below are details of the main updates rolled out this month.
Where applicable, a task ID has been added in green for reference.
Admin Portal
General
Improved the way the system handles the user token refresh, which should reduce the occurrence of data not loading.
Added a warning message to show that the user session will expire in 10 minutes, to help reduce problems when working in the Admin Portal and the system doesn't save work and instead logs the user out due to session expiry.
Committees
Meetings
The Close On date and time value can now be cleared from a meeting if already set.
Members
An option for downloading the currently listed members of the committee has been added, this will generate a CSV file of the members listed, including fields such as name, role, start and end dates.
Audit Log
Added audit logging for committees, for example if the committee details are changed, members added, removed or updated.
Donations
Pagination
Added pagination to the donations list views, which is intended to reduce the time to load the donations data list views, increase responsiveness of the system and to reduce the data timeouts some users were experiencing.
By default this is set to 50 donations per page, but can be overridden using the option at the top right of the results.
Public Donation
The system now records whether a donation was made in the Members Area, or using the public facing donation page.
This is shown in the donation details page and the main donations list view.
Events
Event Notes
An additional text field for adding notes for an event has been added. This is an admin only field, and will not be displayed in the members area event view.
Audit Log
Added audit logging for events, for example if the event details are changed, tickets added, removed or updated.
Members
Pagination
Added pagination to the members list views, which is intended to reduce the time to load the members data list views, increase responsiveness of the system and to reduce the data timeouts some users were experiencing.
By default this is set to 100 members per page, but can be overridden using the option at the top right of the results.
The Quick Search can still be used to quickly filter members in the current view, and will search across all current pages listed.
Activity
The activity log now shows where a Password Reset/Forgotten Password request was triggered from, either the Members Area "Forgotten Password" page, or from the admin portal.
If triggered from the Admin Portal it will also show which admin user triggered the request.
Membership Types (Quarterage Types)
Added an option to override the VAT breakdown for a specific membership/quarterage type.
This can be useful for some membership/quarterage types which are a donation, where VAT is not applicable.
Pages
Editor
The editor now supports reordering of the content sections within it.
On the left side for each section (eg text, button, gallery etc) are two buttons, which can be used to move the section up or down (depending on whether it is below or above another section).
Gallery
The gallery now allows dragging and dropping images within the gallery to reorder images.
Images within the gallery can also be removed from the gallery using the Remove button.
Captions may now be added to each gallery image, these should be kept brief due to spacing constraints.
Shop
Product Images
Product images can now be successfully removed, previously some images would not allow themselves to be removed from a product.
Public Shop
The Public Shop functionality has been added, which can allow the sale of products to members of the public on the Public Shop page, similar to the public Donations page.
By default this is disabled for each client, if you wish to have this enabled please contact support@memb.rs for details.
Products now have an additional checkbox to control whether they are displayed on the Public Shop.
This is displayed on the main Products page against each product.
Members Area
Calendar
The calendar has been updated to improve initial load time and navigation between months.
The calendar now retrieves the current view month and the months either side of it, and repeats this when navigating between months.
Member Registration/Password Reset
The system will now check the token in the link used to get to the Choose Your Password page and will display a message if the link is invalid or expired, as well as a link to the Forgotten Your Password page for the user to request a new password reset link.
Membership/Quarterage
This page has been updated to show details of the active memberships/quarterages a member has, as well as listing any instalments against it.
A Generate Invoice button has also been added that will generate a PDF of that membership/quarterage.
The VAT breakdown can be overridden by unticking the Charge VAT for this quarterage type option against that membership type.
Public Shop
The Public Shop functionality has been added, which can allow the sale of products to members of the public on the Public Shop page, similar to the public Donations page.
NOTE: The Public Shop currently uses the same payment methods as the Members Area Shop.
By default this is disabled for each client, if you wish to have this enabled please contact support@memb.rs for details.
Shown below is an example public shop page, however your public shop will be branded to match your Members Area theme and fonts.
A new option in the Admin Portal > Shop > Product Detail view can be used to toggle which products can be sold on the Public Shop.
