Below are details of the main updates rolled out this month.
General
Browser Support & Unsupported Browser Fallback
The members area now only supports Chrome/Edge 109+, Safari 14.1+, iOS 14+, and Firefox 115+.
The admin portal has a stricter policy, Chrome/Edge 130+, Safari 16.1+, iOS 16+, and Firefox 128+ due to the sensitivity of the data it handles.
Members using an unsupported browser will now see a fallback page with a link to the Users See a Basic Page help article, instead of a blank screen.
Admin Portal
Committees
Committee Members List Now Displays Correctly After Navigating Back
Fixed an issue where navigating to a member’s committees tab from a committee members list and then pressing back would only show the single member instead of the full list.
Committee Meeting
Updated the drag and drop functionality for documents to give better visual feedback when moving documents.
Events
Event Categorisation
Events now have a Type (e.g. Formal Dinner, Sport & Activity, Talk & Lecture) and Format (in-person, virtual, hybrid), selectable when creating or editing an event. All existing events have been automatically categorised based on their names.
Engagement Dashboard
A new Event Engagement dashboard is available under Events in the sidebar. It provides an organisation-level overview of your events programme, including breakdowns by type and format, seasonal distribution, year-over-year trends, and a full list of events ranked by attendance. Use the year, calendar, type, and format filters to drill into specific areas. A “Compare with” option lets you view two years side by side.
Members
Engagement Filters in Advanced Search
Engagement Score and Engagement Status can now be used as filters in the Advanced Search view builder. Engagement Status shows a dropdown of available statuses when using “Equals”, while Engagement Score supports numeric comparisons such as equals, greater than, and less than.
Deleted Members Management
A new Deleted Members page is available in the sidebar under Members. Admins can view all soft-deleted member records, see how many days remain before automatic permanent deletion (30 days), and choose to either restore a member to inactive status or permanently delete them immediately.
Restoring a member sets their status to inactive and logs the action (including which admin restored them) in the member’s activity feed.
Permanently deleting a member now also cleans up all associated data across related collections, including activity logs, email logs, engagement scores, attendance records, event declines, exclusions, and waiting list entries. This cleanup also applies to the existing automatic 30-day purge.
Instalment Handling When Ending a Membership Early
When editing a membership and setting the end date before the next renewal date, admins are now prompted to choose whether to retain or delete any future instalments on the associated subscription that fall after the new end date. Only unprocessed instalments are affected. The renewal date is also cleared automatically, since it would no longer apply.
When creating a new membership, setting the end date before the renewal date will block submission with a warning, as no subscription exists yet.
Reports
Empty Date Fields No Longer Show 01/01/1970
Fixed an issue where empty date fields in member reports (e.g. membership start/end dates, committee dates) were incorrectly displaying as 01/01/1970 instead of being left blank.
Shop
Added an Address Labels (PDF) option for exporting names and addresses in a PDF with respective label format.
These options are standard Avery label types.
Members Area
Events
Past Events & Event Search
The events page now includes an Upcoming/Past Events toggle, allowing members to browse historical events alongside upcoming ones. Past events respect the same visibility rules, excluded members won’t see events they’re excluded from, and uninvited events remain non-clickable.
Both the main events list and individual calendar views include a search box for filtering events by name, with results scoped to whichever view (upcoming or past) is currently selected. A clear button allows quick reset of the search.
Pagination has been added to the main events list (25 events per page) to improve performance for organisations with large numbers of events.
Payments Dashboard
Payment Status Now Updates Reliably After Payment
Fixed an issue where the payments dashboard could show an incorrect status (e.g. “Incomplete”) after making a payment, requiring a page refresh to see the correct result. The page now waits for the payment to be fully processed before updating the table. This applies to payments made from the payments dashboard, donation history, and membership detail pages.
