Below are details of the main updates rolled out this month.
Where applicable, a task ID has been added in green for reference.
General
Transactions
Payment logic for the system has been updated to better handle instances where bookings/orders/donations were still created even if the member failed to complete the payment (e.g. failing 3D authentication from their bank).
The system will now wait until the payment has been fully processed before creating the booking, donation or order.
This will reduce the amount of bookings/orders/donations where the payment is shown as incomplete, but the member still receives a confirmation email.
Admin Portal
Email Logs
Track all transactional emails sent to members with comprehensive delivery tracking and history.
Content & Attachments:
- Email Content: View full HTML email content for emails less than 60 days old from send date (Tier 1). Content is automatically purged after 60 days but metadata remains
- Attachments: Download email attachments within 60 days of send date (Tier 1 retention). Attachment metadata (filename, type, size) stored permanently for audit purposes
Key Features:
- Email History Tab: View all emails sent to a member under the new "Email Log" tab in member details
- Delivery Tracking: Monitor email status (Sent, Delivered, Opened, Bounced, Spam) with timestamps and open counts
- Email Details: Click any email to view full details including delivery timeline, content preview, and attachments
- Related Records: Navigate directly from emails to related bookings, events, meetings, orders, or donations
- Data Retention: Emails stored with full details for 60 days, archived metadata for 1 year, essential audit trail forever
- Filtering: Filter by email type, status, or member name
- Search & Export: Quickly find specific emails and export member data including email history
Accessing Email Logs:
Member
- Navigate to any member profile
- Click the Email Log tab
- Click any email row to view full details
Bookings, Orders & Donations
- Navigate to the respective details for the booking, order or donation
- Any emails sent to the member will be shown below the main details
- Click any email row to view full details
Events
- Navigate to any event
- Select the Email Log tab
- Any emails sent to members for bookings will be shown
- Click any email row to view full details
Note: Email logging began on 25/02/2026. Emails sent before this date are not captured.
Committees
Added a new Documents tab, this is where top level committee documents are now located.
Document reordering is now possible by dragging and dropping documents on the page.
Multiple files may be uploaded in one upload, up to a maximum of 20 files per upload.
Committee Meetings
Multiple files may be uploaded in one upload, up to a maximum of 20 files per upload.
Committee Members
Committee members may now be given a document management role, which allows them to manage the committee and meeting documents in the same way that is done in the Admin Portal.
When creating or editing a member there is a new Can Manage Committee & Meeting Documents in the Members Area checkbox.
Any member with this ticked will be shown on the members list.
Donations
Updated the API logic for recurring donations that use Stripe for handling the payments.
The system now listens for Stripe to confirm that each months payment has been created and will then create that months transaction against the members donation.
For monthly donations using Stripe for setting up a direct debit outside of Memb.rs, the system will create the donation in a pending state, and await confirmation from Stripe that the direct debit was completed.
Additional information is also shown for the Stripe subscription, with a link to it.
A new Total Donated amount is also shown, which provides the current total of transactions created for the donation.
Events
Added member and attendee name filters to the Bookings, Attendees and Invited List tabs.
Attendee Search
Added additional filters for date range and whether the attendee is a member, guest or either.
Members
Exports
Updated the Members - Bookings CSV export to give a count of events per year, total events attended, and an average event attendance per year metric.
Advanced Search
Updated the Advanced Search to provide improved feedback and options based on the field selected, for example when adding a date based field the form now displays a date picker and restricts the filter options to those for dates.
The form will also display what the field type is for the field selected, such as date, checkbox, text etc.
Additionally, the logic for multiple fields has been updated such that AND or OR options can be used, separate from the Match All or Any option, which controls the Status and Registered options.
GDPR Hidden Fields
The GDPR hidden fields now allow for typing and adding a field by its name, rather than by its full field path.
Membership/Quarterage
GoCardless Link
For those clients with GoCardless as a payment method, there is now an option on the Membership/Quarterage tab against a member to link their customer record and mandate (if they exist in GoCardless).
This will open a new modal window:
You may search by the email address used for the member record, or remove that and enter the GoCardless Customer ID if the email address used in GoCardless is not the same as in Memb.rs.
Using the Lookup Mandates button will search for that customer, and if it matches a record it will display any active mandates against that customer.
The mandate can be selected and the pressing the Link button will link that Customer ID and mandate to the member record.
If no active mandates are found a warning will be displayed.
At least 1 active mandate must exist in the Customer record for a link to be created.
Organisations

Added navigation routing for the navigation tabs on a committee.
This allows for the different sections, such as Previous Meetings, Members, Documents etc to have their own URL.
