Below are details of the main updates rolled out this month.
Where applicable, a task ID has been added in green for reference.
Admin Portal
General

Memb.rs now allows for control over which sections an administrative user can access or view.
The following sections can be assigned to an administrative user.
- Dashboard Statistics
- Members
- Subscriptions
- Organisations
- Transactions
- Events
- Committees
- Donations
- Shop
- Pages
- Analytics
Please note that by disabling access to one section, such as Events, will mean that a members bookings won't be visible against a members record in the Members section.
Some sections, such as Committee members, can still be seen if the Members section is disabled, as this only shows a members name, and is typically required if managing a committee.
If a section is disabled for an admin user they will see similar to below:
If an admin user attempts to open an admin portal link for a section they do not have permissions for they will see a message similar to below:
Currently, all administrative users have been assigned access to each section above, to update this please contact support@memb.rs. where we can provide a spreadsheet of your administrative users and their current access rights.
Dashboard
The Dashboard now displays any Open Orders.
Optimised the data retrieval for Committee Meetings on the Dashboard to reduce page load times.
Events
Past Events are now sorted by the start date time of the event, with the most recent events at the top of the list.
Calendars
Added an additional checkbox for "Tick if this calendar is used for Committee Meetings".
This is used to set whether the calendar is retrieved for the new Events calendar filter option within the Members Area (see the Members Area updates further on this page).
Members
Reduced Member Data Load Times
Member data retrieval has been further optimised, which should now reduce how long the member page takes to load.
Delete Member Logic
Updated the logic for if a member record can be deleted, it now allows a member who has registered to be deleted as long as they do not have any transactions, bookings, subscriptions/quarterage, donations or committee service.
Deletion Retention Policy
Member records that have been deleted are now removed entirely from the database after a period of 90 days.
Member Links
Updated query logic to find only those members with the current member as a link, previously the page retrieved all members in the system and then processed the members. This should greatly improve the page load times.
Removed the status and label columns as this was displaying incorrect data.
Shop
Added status filters to the Orders sidebar to allow for filtering based on whether the order is "pending" (open), "completed" or "cancelled".
By default the Orders page will now only show Pending (open) orders, and the Completed and Cancelled orders can be viewed using the respective sidebar filters.
Members Area
Events
Events can now be filtered based on the calendars created in the Admin Portal Events > Calendar section.
If no upcoming events are assigned to a calendar then the following is displayed.
Note that only the calendars with the new checkbox for "Tick if this calendar is used for Committee Meetings" unticked will be displayed.
This is so that calendars assigned to Committee Meetings are not shown.
The members area event URL is also updated if a calendar filter is selected, this allows for sharing of the unique URL.
Shop
Updated how product images are displayed, they now use a carousel to cycle through images, and are displayed larger than previously.
