Below are details of the main fixes/updates that were rolled out in October.
Where applicable, a task ID has been added in green for reference.
Members Admin
Analytics
#2ejfuqf
Analytics for the Members Area has now been added, and a dashboard can be viewed in the admin area.
The analytics can be filtered and exported using the dashboard interface.
For further information please refer to this guide: Using the Analytics Dashboard
NOTE: Activity is only tracked within the members area, so external links to the members area aren't always recorded, unless the member is logged in at the time.
Committees
#2zxcxz4
Fixed an issue whereby some display names of members would cause the formatting of the file to break.
Donations
#2zxb6bp
Added Payment Intent ID for Credit/Debit Card payments for reference with Stripe.
Events
#30mdty8
The Ticket tab has been updated, it now shows:
- How many tickets have been sold per ticket
- The total remaining (if a ticket has a ticket limit)
The formatting has also been updated for legibility.
The Booking Form (found on Bookings > Create/Edit Booking button) has also been updated and will now disable the ticket type if it is sold out.
#30u3nq9
Added margins to the Description text box paragraphs to more closely match the formatting of the Description in the Members Area
#30ep0m3
Fixed an issue where "cancelled" bookings were being taken in to account when the system worked out how many tickets had been sold. This would sometimes cause the booking form to state that a ticket was sold out when there were still tickets available.
#30mep8z
Improved individual event opening times significantly by optimising the queries the page runs when loaded.
#30zthm4
Observances
An event can now have a status of "observances", this can be used to create an event that will only be shown on the main Members Area Events list page and in the Calendar but cannot be opened.
It's primary intended use is so that events or holidays can be added for members to be aware of, but that are not an actual event that can be booked, for example, to add in public holidays or other external events which don't require further detail adding.
It is recommended but not required to create a new calendar for observances that any event created with a status of observances can be set against.
Members
#2z0ukp4
When viewing a members Bookings tab in their profile, the results now link to the respective event booking details page.
Miscellaneous
#2xdcdck
The requirement for a user to have an email address has now been removed, members can now be created without an email address.
NOTE: If a member does not have an email address then they will not be able to log in to the Members Area, or receive system emails (registration, bookings etc).
#2xd6e5d
Error messages for required fields have been updated to be more prominent and legible.
Pages
- The main Pages list now shows if an article is "featured".
- Fixed a bug where the Page Options Metadata didn't correctly show if a page was featured or not.
Members Area
Login Page
#2pkxxzt
A warning message is now shown if a members computer system time is incorrect.
If a computers time was out of sync by over 2 minutes the system token used to authenticate the member would be invalidated, causing the member to be redirected back to the login page without a message to explain the problem.
A link to this help article is also added to provide guidance on setting the correct system time.
Events
#30ep0m3
Fixed an issue where "cancelled" bookings were being taken in to account when the system worked out how many tickets had been sold.
This would sometimes cause the booking form to state that a ticket was sold out when there were still tickets available.
#20j8hee
- The number of tickets remaining has been added against each ticket
- If no limit is set then no badge is shown
- If a ticket type reaches its allocated limit then it is classed as "Sold Out" and the option to book with that ticket is disabled.
#2yfjach
Added the booking status badge to the booking form for clarity of booking status.
#30zthm4
Observances
If an event is set to have an "observances" status, then it will be shown in the Events list but will not be able to be opened.
It will also have an "observances" badge against it to signify its status.
Payments
#2x1y0er
The payments have been updated to improve legibility and now show transactions based on their status.
Transactions are now grouped in an expandable/collapsible accordion based on whether the transaction is completed or open.
By default the Open transactions accordion will be open on first page load, with the Completed transactions accordion closed.
This should improve usability when a member has a large number of transactions and make it easier to distinguish between each transaction.
If a payment has been completed it will now show the date the payment was closed (where applicable, depending on the payment method used), as well as the payment method.
Miscellaneous
#2t3wa5y
Fixed an issue where some pages would sometimes cause high CPU usage and cause the page not to respond.
#25dg1x8
Fixed the Terms & Conditions not loading correctly on the reset password page.
