2021-08 Release Notes

Below are details of the fixes that were rolled out today, these were primarily to resolve issues with the Events section.

Fixes

Booking form not including pence

Some tickets with pence added (eg £10.50) were not calculating the total price correctly by not including the pence value

Bookings status not updating

When a member booked an event the system didn't immediately show them as booked

When setting a guest price to 0, the normal ticket cost is added for a guest

Some events were adding the cost of the ticket for guests if the guest price was free

Fix the page scrolling to the top on event booking when selecting a ticket

In some cases (typically on mobile devices) when selecting a ticket for an event the page would then be scrolled to the top automatically

Change Tickets to Cost and then if £0 show "No Charge", if guest price is the same as ticket price then just show the ticket price, if there's only one option don't show the name of the ticket

In summary this should simplify how ticket prices are displayed, if the guest price is the same as the member price then only one price is shown.

Hide "TBC" guests in the attendees list

There is now a checkbox to allow someone to add a guests details at a later date, if ticked it will minimise that guests entry field

Attendee information for members and guests

There are now additional fields for adding postnominals for guests, additional address entry fields will be added in a future update

Updates

Events

An update for the Events section has been implemented.

The overall layout of event pages has been changed, this should provide an improved member experience when viewing and booking events, as well as allow for additional information to be submitted and viewed.
