Memb.rs allows for as many delivery or collection methods as required, however these will typically be just a few options, as shown below.
When a member selects a delivery method the cost (if any) is added to their order total.
NOTE: Delivery methods and rates can't be automatically applied to a members order, the member chooses which method, so delivery methods can't currently be applied or restricted automatically based on the size, weight or cost of an order.
Create a Delivery Rate
Press the Add Delivery Rate button from the Delivery Rates page.
- Required fields are:
- Name
- Cost
Name
Add the name for the delivery rate, for example, collection, free postage etc.
This will be used for the delivery selection in the Shop checkout page in the members area.
This delivery rate is for delivery, untick for collection
This checkbox can be used to toggle whether the delivery rate is a delivery or collection.
If unticked then the address field is not displayed to the member at the checkout page.

An example of an order where the delivery rate has the checkbox ticked, which shows the address field.
NOTE: The address is auto populated from a members address (if added), but can be amended.
Cost
Set the cost for the delivery rate, this can be set to 0 for no charge, for example if this is a collection delivery rate, or you offer free delivery.
The cost value allows for adding pence, eg 4.99, to the cost, or set to a whole number, such as 5, to have the delivery cost be £5.00.
NOTE: The cost is automatically applied to the order total at the checkout.
An example of a completed delivery rate is shown below:
Once the form has been completed press the Save button to save the delivery rate.
The delivery rate will now be live in the members area as an option for members to choose when at the Shop checkout.
Modify a Delivery Rate
A delivery rate may be modified by pressing the Edit button against it on the Delivery Rates page.
This will show the same options as the Create Delivery Rate form, with the fields populated with the existing delivery rate details.
NOTE: If a delivery rate is modified and saved, for example changing the cost from £4 to £5, then this change is not reflected on orders that have been made already, only new orders going forward will use the new cost.
