The Pages section allows for creating articles that can be displayed within the members area.
These pages must be assigned to a category, which can be used to organise where the articles are displayed.
Categories
At least 1 category must be created before an article can be created.
Please follow the Page Categories article to complete this.
Categories can either be shown in the News & Updates or Company Information sections (names of these sections can be changed).
One or more categories can be assigned to each section, a category can only live in one section.
Once a category has been created please follow the Creating a Page article to create an article.
News & Updates
This section is meant to display articles that are ordered based on their published date and provide a chronological view of the articles.
This can be thought of as news articles or updates where the newest published date article is viewed first.
Category Filters
If more than 1 category is assigned to the News & Updates section then a filter is shown whereby the member can select to view only those articles assigned to that category.
Dashboard
The newest (by published date) 3 articles are shown on the main members area dashboard, providing a convenient way for members to see new articles.
Company Information
This section is designed to hold articles that contain reference information and stays in the same location on the articles list, such as company contact information, membership rules etc.
By using additional categories for articles these articles can be logically grouped based on their content, for example a category for Events can contain articles for event dress codes, payment policies etc.
Dashboard
Any article that has been assigned to a category that lives in the Company Information section can also be set as featured, if this is selected then the article will also be listed on the Dashboard Company Information card.
This is to allow the article to be more prominent to members and to also provide quicker access to those articles.
